Canadian waters are protected in order to help avoid over fishing of our natural resources, and as such, there are limits to the number of pacific salmon you are allowed to catch and keep in the Sooke and Port Renfrew areas.
Before heading out on the water, be sure to check for up-to-date information on fishing limits, openings, and closures.
If you’ve booked a Sooke fishing charter, your guide should be able to provide you with this information.
