An important part of any vacation is the journey and you’ll find getting here, on your trip to Vancouver Island, is an enjoyable opportunity to sit back and discover our island’s natural beauty. SookePoint can be found 45km from Victoria, a scenic 1 hour from Swartz Bay ferry terminal and 1 hour from the Victoria International Airport.

The drive to SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort is an experience in it’s self. Enjoy the beautiful rainforest scenery while viewing pockets of the Pacific Ocean along the way. Once you get to our Resort, you’ll know you are in the right place for your incredible vacation – away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Please note, the last 20-30 minutes of your drive will be down a beautiful but windy road and cell signals can be spotty along the drive. We recommend taking your first journey towards our resort slow and steady. Make sure to contact us before you arrive if you plan to check-in after 5pm PST.

DRIVING THE ISLAND HIGHWAYS

From Highway #1

Exit onto Westshore Parkway heading West
At the roundabout, continue straight to stay on Westshore Pkwy
At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Westshore Pkwy
Turn right onto Sooke Road (Juan De Fuca – Hwy BC14)
Take the right exit which loops under the highway.
Then take a right from there (passing 17 Mile Pub) and continue straight onto Gillespie Rd
Turn right onto East Sooke Road
Continue onto SookePoint Place (originally Silver Spray Drive)

WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES

Anacortes to Sidney
Port Angeles to Victoria

From Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal & Victoria International Airport

Head south toward BC Highway 17
Follow Patricia Bay Highway (BC 17) and Trans Canada Highway to Westshore Parkway in Langford
Take Juan De Fuca Hwy BC14
Take the right exit which loops under the highway.
Then take a right from there (passing 17 Mile Pub) and continue straight onto Gillespie Rd
Turn right onto East Sooke Road
Continue onto SookePoint Place (originally Silver Spray Drive)
